The Bob Burdette Center, Inc. (BBC) is a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization providing after school services to children and youth grades K-12 on the West Side of Charleston, WV.  The Support Staff (Special Needs) is responsible for assisting the Program Director with executing the programs and services that comply with the overall management of the BBC.

Summary

The Bob Burdette Center, Inc. (BBC) is a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization providing after school services to children and youth grades K-12 on the West Side of Charleston, WV. The Support Staff is responsible for assisting the Program Director with executing the programs and services that comply with the overall management of the BBC.

In this capacity, the Support Staff will provide programming and activity support to the site supervisor for the operation of the after school program at all sites. The Support Staff will promote the BBC in the community and will develop and maintain relationships with volunteers, other staff, and community leaders, schools served by the BBC, state and county educational organizations and the community at-large.

The Support Staff position is an at-will, non-exempt hourly employee and will report directly to the site supervisor at assigned site.

Job Description – Enrichment Instructor

Summary

The Bob Burdette Center, Inc. (BBC) is a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization providing after school services to children and youth grades K-12 on the West Side of Charleston, WV. The Enrichment Instructor is responsible for the implementation of a specific program curriculum (i.e. Second Step) at all BBC and PRO-Kids sites.

In this capacity, the Enrichment Instructor will complete any necessary training related to the curriculum; develop an implementation plan for each site; implement the program as prescribed; and, conduct student assessments. The Enrichment Instructor will coordinate with the Program Director and Site Coordinators. The Enrichment Instructor will promote the BBC in the community and will develop and maintain relationships with volunteers, other staff, and community leaders, schools served by the BBC, state and county educational organizations and the community at-large.

The Enrichment Instructor position is a professional at-will, non-exempt hourly employee and will report directly to the Program Director of the BBC.
