The children and staff at the Bob Burdette Center would like to thank the West Virginia State University Department of Education and its pre-service teachers for an outstanding six weeks of science fun through the SCI-TALKS Program. All of the experiments that were presented taught each child how scientific resolutions are determined. They were introduced to terms such as “hypothesis,” “experiment” and “results” that helped them to understand how actual scientists perform in their field of study. This type of exposure increased many of the children’s minds into thinking out-side the box when it comes to a solution to any problem. The SCI-TALKS teachers were knowledgeable about what they were teaching and allowed the children to go beyond the limits of their imagination. This overall was a great experience for every-one.

We hope that the opportunity will come again for you to bring something new for another fabulous time. Thank You!
